According to the CBC, somebody has the balls/arrogance to stage a reunion convention for US Draft Dodgers in Canada:

The Nelson man who campaigned unsuccessfully for a statue honouring Vietnam war resisters is still going ahead with plans for a celebration of U.S. draft dodgers next summer.

Isaac Romanow says he has long wanted to commemorate the tens of thousands of Vietnam war resisters who came north to Canada.

I wonder if anyone else realizes that if this convention is held during the weekdays, classes at the University of British Columbia will have to be taught by a skeleton crew.

Everybody knows that Canadian Universities are filled to the brim with American Ex-Patriot Professors that just happened to come up north for studies during the Vietnam crisis.

On a vaguely related note: have I ever mentioned how perhaps one of my crowning moments in respect to email came years ago when I managed to setup my draftdodger@army.net account?

Ahhh, good times…
