According to The Inquirer, pope squatter Rogers Cadenhead did some research during the recent papal interregnum, picked the names “Benedict XVI, Clement XV, Innocent XIV, Leo XIV, Paul VII, Pius XIII and registered the lot as dot.com domain names.”
I only wish I could have had the same initiative… or that I could have convinced the former Cardinal Ratzinger to have adopted Pius or Urban for his papacy. Oh well, I suppose I can’t complain when a Pope names himself after my son.
In related news, Pope Benedict XVI’s former volkswagon sold for $315,000 on EBay—which makes you wonder if the buyer considers this vehicle to be a popemobile, even though the Pope was a Cardinal during his time with this car.
Cadenhead has redirected benedictxvi.com to Modest Needs to prevent its abuse by pornographers and online casinos.
